Dr. Simranjit Dhanoa earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Coaching with a specialization in Kinesiology from Douglas College before moving to Portland, Oregon, where he completed both a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States, graduating with honors.

Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Dhanoa worked extensively as a Vision Therapist, focusing on concussion rehabilitation and supporting patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries. His background in neurology and functional rehabilitation gives him a unique perspective on whole-person care.

During his undergraduate clinical rotations, he also worked with Varsity Basketball teams as an athletic therapist, providing on-court assessments, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitation support for student-athletes. This blend of neurological and sports-focused experience shapes his comprehensive, patient-centered approach to practice.

Growing up, Dr. Dhanoa competed in various sports, spending most of his years playing soccer, as well as participating in swimming and track and field. These experiences fostered his passion for human movement, injury prevention, and performance optimization, eventually leading him toward a career in chiropractic and neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation.

His philosophy of care focuses on addressing the root cause of dysfunction rather than just treating symptoms. Dr. Dhanoa is committed to helping patients feel and function at their best by using evidence-informed strategies that support long-term recovery, resilience, and overall well-being.

Outside of practice, Dr. Dhanoa enjoys staying active in the gym, going for walks with his dog, and traveling whenever he gets the opportunity.

Dr. Dhanoa looks forward to building meaningful connections with patients and supporting them throughout their journey toward improved health and peak performance.
