Physiotherapist
Andrea Forer, PT
Andrea has earned her Masters degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Glasgow, Scotland. Prior to attending school in Scotland, Andrea completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC with minors in both Kinesiology and Health Sciences. Her unique education background allows her to take a all-around approach to client’s rehabilitation and understand the importance of client empowerment.
Andrea’s active background in competitive dance, soccer, and lifeguarding and experience as a fitness instructor inspired her to pursue a career in rehabilitation. She believes in a collaborative approach to rehabilitation, and wants every client to leave their sessions feeling accomplished. Andrea works with all clients, but particularly enjoys working with the post-concussion rehabilitation and management clients. She likes to work in the ‘grey’: the space that combines the art and science of concussion rehabilitation. Her creativity and knowledge base continue to grow the more than she learns and works with her concussion clients! Andrea also loves to take full advantage of the integrated team at Catalyst Kinetics to help clients maximize the potential of their recovery.
Another clinical tool Andrea brings to her practice is clinical pilates. Utilizing the pilates reformer has been instrumental for her client’s progress and she enjoys coaching her clients through full body strengthening and integration!
Outside of the clinic, Andrea enjoys yoga, weightlifting, playing soccer and hiking with her dog, Rosco.
