IV Therapy

What is intravenous therapy?

Intravenous (IV) therapy is the administration of vitamins or minerals directly into a client’s veins as a therapeutic treatment. The client receives a higher concentration of vitamins and minerals when receiving IV therapy. When vitamins and minerals are administered via IV, they are able to bypass the digestive tract which enables a significantly higher percentage of the vitamins and/or minerals to be absorbed by the body.

Intravenous Nutrient Therapy - Intravenous Iron Infusions - Glutathione - Cold Laser Therapy - Therapeutic Phlebotomies - B12 Injections - Vitamin D Injections - Ozone Therapy - Major Autohemotherapy

Major autohemotherapy (MAH) is an IV treatment where a client’s blood is removed into a sterile IV bag, and then the blood is infused with medical-grade ozone before being returned to the client’s body. This process stimulates the upregulation of the mitochondria (powerhouse of the cell), increases oxygen perfusion, increases white blood cell function which aids in healing and more. Some conditions that MAH has benefited are Lyme disease, fungal infection, viral infection, fatigue and tissue repair.

Injection Therapy - FAQs

Step One

If you are new to our team of Naturopathic Doctors, please book a New Patient Consultation for a comprehensive treatment protocol. You may also book a Lab/IV Consultation if you are only seeking lab services. If you have seen one of our Naturopathic Doctors before, but it has been over 6 months, please book in for a Readmission Visit. During this visit, your ND will review your concerns and assess for safety, and prescribe the indicated lab treatments. Please arrive prepared with a list of medications, supplements and recent lab work.

Step Two

Booking for our lab services can be done with your ND or our administrative team. Currently, all lab services are completed at the Burnaby location by either the ND or a Registered Nurse licensed to work under the orders of the Naturopathic Doctors.

Step Three

Arrive at the Burnaby location for your scheduled treatment! Unless specified by your practitioner, it is best to eat a meal and hydrate prior to your appointment. You may wish to bring water with you and a light snack.
